Allstate and NACDA Honor Student-Athletes for Community Service

Allstate and the National Association of Collegiate Directors of Athletics (NACDA) have announced the inaugural Allstate NACDA Good Works Team, which recognizes 20 student-athletes for their significant contributions to community service. The team, announced on August 26, includes male and female athletes from various collegiate sports and different NCAA divisions, as well as junior colleges and the NAIA.

The honored student-athletes were selected for their work on important social causes, including efforts to support pediatric cancer patients, promote disability inclusion, and address food and housing insecurity.

Aidan Crawford, a men’s soccer player at Loyola University Chicago, was named the first-ever team captain. As a molecular and cellular neuroscience major, Crawford founded “Special Olympics Loyola University Chicago,” a group dedicated to making sports more accessible to all athletes. The group facilitates practices and on-campus programs and was recently featured in Chicago’s Mag Mile Parade.
