Our Team, Hawaii’s Team: UH Athletics Launches Giving Week

The University of Hawaii at Manoa is kicking off the new semester with a call to action for its community. As part of its “Our Team. Hawaii’s Team” campaign, UH Athletics has launched Giving Week, an initiative running from September 6–13. The goal is to inspire fans, alumni, and supporters to invest in the future of UH Athletics and its student-athletes.
This week-long event is a prime opportunity for the community to contribute directly to vital areas that support the student-athlete experience. Donations can be directed toward scholarships, facilities, nutrition, mental health, and academic support.
According to UH Manoa Athletics Director Matt Elliott, Giving Week is about more than just funding wins and losses. He states that by contributing, the community is “investing in the future leaders of Hawaii.” The “Our Team. Hawaii’s Team” campaign underscores the deep connection between the university’s athletic programs and the people of the state, emphasizing that when the team succeeds, the entire community wins.
