How does the "Like" action work?
The “Like” action is an automation feature in Scout that allows you to engage with your contacts’ content by automatically liking their posts as part of your campaign. Here’s how it works:
What Happens When You Add the “Like” Action:
After you add the “Like” action to your automation campaign, our system will automatically like one of the three most recent posts shared by the contact.
Maintaining Authenticity:
We understand that variety is key to maintaining authentic interactions and avoiding spam-like behavior. That’s why our system is intelligently designed to prevent over-engagement.
If you add the “Like” action a second time to the same contact in your campaign, Scout will not like new posts. Instead, the system will reverse its previous action by removing the likes it previously placed on the posts.
This ensures that you don’t over-engage with the same contact, keeping your interactions natural and respectful.
Important Consideration:
Before adding more than one “Like” action to your campaign sequence, please consider that our system will only like one post at a time. If you add multiple likes, it will essentially unlike posts that were previously liked.
This helps avoid cluttering your contacts’ notifications and keeps your actions aligned with LinkedIn’s expectations for genuine interaction.
