Missing {company_name}, {first_name} or other variables in the messages

If you’ve noticed that some variables (like {company_name}, {first_name}, or other placeholders) are not being filled with actual values in your automated messages, it’s likely due to one of the following reasons:

1. When Using a CSV File to Create a Campaign

  • Ensure that each contact in your CSV file has all the necessary data in the corresponding fields. If some contacts are missing data (like the company name or first name), the variables won’t be replaced with their values in the messages.

2. When Using a URL to Create a Campaign

  • In some rare cases, our app may fail to pick up certain variables (like company name or first name) from a contact’s LinkedIn profile when using a LinkedIn search URL to create the campaign. This can happen if the contact’s profile is incomplete or if there is an issue with reading the profile details.
